More Google reviews, asked the honest way

ReviewIQ, part of DentalIQ™, drafts a short, personal review request for each patient after their visit, built from their history with your practice and never from clinical details. Your team reviews and edits every message, then sends it by text or email. Every patient gets the same honest ask, with your own Google review link and no incentives or rating pressure.

Why it matters

Google says its local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and that more reviews and positive ratings can improve a business's local ranking. Google also lists "selectively soliciting positive reviews" as prohibited conduct.

How it works

  1. 1One draft per patient. The AI writes from the patient's first name, their provider, how many visits and years they've had with the practice, and the time of day of today's visit. Nothing clinical goes in.
  2. 2The team reviews. Each draft shows what it was "based on". The team can edit it or untick a patient, and sees who won't be contacted and why.
  3. 3Checked again at send time. Typed links are replaced with your practice's own Google review link, and the practice name is added back if it was edited out. Wording Google doesn't allow is refused: five stars, "positive" or "good review", discounts, coupons, gifts, giveaways or prizes, "in exchange", and "only if you were happy".
  4. 4Text or email. Per patient, depending on what's available. Texts go only to patients who've agreed, and stop when they reply STOP. Each email is a plain personal note with an unsubscribe link and your practice's address.
  5. 5Not too often. Each patient is asked at most once every 90 days, counting text and email together.
  6. 6A QR card for the front desk. Print it or download it, for patients who'd rather leave a review on their own time. It contains no patient data.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't filter out unhappy patients, offer incentives or ask for a rating.
  • It doesn't send anything without a person approving it.
  • It doesn't promise a number of reviews or a ranking.
  • It doesn't read your Google reviews or reply to them yet.

Where the results go

Every request is logged: when, by which channel, the AI's draft, the team's edits and who approved it. The ReviewIQ page shows today's requests and how many patients were asked in the last 90 days, the dashboard lists this month's requests, and ReportIQ counts them monthly.

Frequently asked questions

Is this review gating?

No. Every patient gets the same ask, and nothing routes happy patients to Google and others elsewhere.

Does it ask for five stars?

No. That wording is refused at send time, along with "positive review", incentives and "only if you were happy".

How often is a patient asked?

At most once every 90 days, across text and email.

Does it reply to reviews?

Not yet. When you reply yourself, never confirm that the reviewer is your patient: HHS has fined dental practices for revealing patient details in replies to online reviews.

Is patient information in the message?

Only the first name, the provider and the practice. Never treatment or clinical details.
