DentalIQ™ runs the business side of an independent dental practice, so the team can run the patient side. It gives the practice standard procedures for insurance checks, claims, treatment plans, recall, Google reviews and the numbers, with AI doing the routine work and the practice's own team approving it. Stay independent. Run like a DSO. How it works →
Independent dental practices, typically 1–5 chairs: the owner-dentist who decides and the office manager or front desk lead who uses it every day. It isn't built for DSOs.

No. Every AI output is a draft until a person on the team approves it, and nothing patient-facing goes out on its own. Every AI action is logged, with what the AI drafted and what the team changed.
No. DentalIQ's own rules read the payer's answer and work out the estimate. The AI writes the plain-language wording. When the payer didn't answer something, DentalIQ says so instead of guessing.
No. DentalIQ doesn't train models on customer data, and under its AI providers' terms the data isn't used to train their models either.
The AI that handles patient information is Claude on Amazon Bedrock, under DentalIQ's business associate agreement with AWS. Voice transcription uses OpenAI's Whisper under a business associate agreement with OpenAI, insurance checks and claims go through Stedi under one, and email goes through Amazon SES under the AWS agreement. Not yet covered: Railway, which hosts the backend and database today, and Twilio, which sends texts. The database and backend move to AWS before a practice uses DentalIQ with real patient data, and texts to real patients stay off until texting runs through a provider that signs one. The website is hosted on Vercel, but patient data doesn't pass through Vercel. Trust & safety →

It works alongside them. You import your patient list from a CSV or Excel export; DentalIQ matches the columns and you check the mapping before anything is imported. There's no live sync, and nothing is written into your practice software automatically. Insurance check results, approved notes and claim payment postings have copy buttons. Today, yes: appointments you want DentalIQ to check and track are added in DentalIQ as well as in your practice software. A schedule import is a later decision.

The fee applies only on Platform + RecallIQ; Practice OS has no recovery fee. It applies only to patients RecallIQ contacted (a message or a logged call) within 90 days before they came back. It's 10% of that first returning visit only, based on the paid claim when there is one, otherwise the amount the team entered. It's billed after the 5th of the following month, and a practice can dispute a fee before it's billed.
14 days, no credit card. On the trial you can see your RecallIQ overdue list and try drafts; sending recall messages starts on a paid plan, and BillingIQ is part of Practice OS.
A small founding cohort gets Practice OS at 50% off for the first six months. On day one, DentalIQ records how many days each payer takes to pay the practice's claims, then shows the change month by month.
